Main Deck Lavatory, Aircraft Toilet
Fixing the lavatories to the floor area of the aircraft is done
either via the seat tracks or via hard points integrated into the structure of the floor framework. The upper connection to the aircraft's fuselage is accomplished via mountings and tie rods attached to the lavatories.
There are a variety of possibilities for integrating cabin interior components on the outside of the lavatories, depending on location and size. Among these components are cabin attendant seats, LCD monitors, airphones, baby bassinets,
folding tables, literature pockets, drinking water dispensers, etc.
Additionally, the lavatories can be equipped with a stretcher flap to ease transportation of sick person. Moreover, an external access to the waste compartment can be provided.
